My Philosophy & Approach

What I believe creates healing

I believe healing begins with learning to understand ourselves with greater curiosity and compassion.

Through difficult experiences, many women become disconnected from who they are, what they need, and what matters to them. As we learn to understand rather than judge ourselves, we create the foundation for self-trust, healthier relationships, and a life that feels meaningful and aligned with who we are becoming.

My work is guided by four core beliefs:

  • Healing begins with self-understanding, not self-judgement. When we approach ourselves with curiosity and compassion, we create the conditions for lasting change.
  • Our deepest longings are not signs of weakness; they are guides that help us reconnect to who we are. They can point us towards the life, relationships, and future that are most aligned with who we truly are.
  • A strong sense of identity is the foundation of lasting change. As women reconnect with themselves, self-trust, healthy boundaries, confidence, and emotional freedom can begin to emerge.
  • Healing is about more than recovery. It is about creating a life that feels meaningful, values-driven, and aligned with the person you want to become.

Frequently Asked Questions

Relationship patterns are often shaped by our early experiences of connection, safety, and belonging. Familiar patterns can continue even when they are no longer healthy for us.

Understanding these patterns is not about blaming yourself. It is about developing the awareness and choice needed to respond differently.

Change begins with understanding. Therapy can help you recognise the patterns that have shaped your relationships and understand how they continue to influence your thoughts, emotions, and behaviour.

As you develop greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and confidence in expressing your needs and boundaries, your choices can become more aligned with who you are.

Understanding your thoughts, emotions, needs, values, and patterns can help you respond to yourself with greater compassion and less judgement.

This creates the foundation for self-trust, healthier boundaries, and choices that are more aligned with who you are and what matters to you.
